Onward to some fun

Here are the fabrics I chose yesterday:
Pink: for Diaper and wipe Cases, catchalls, bottle carriers and hopefully Change pads.
Cream: for the slings: Neither of my sisters got to use a sling with their other kids, and I loved mine so much, I figured I will make them each one, if they don't like it, it's ok cause it was a gift :).

Blue: I picked up a little bit of stripes in some boyish colours, just in case the u/s technician was wrong ;)
Nothing like a little bit of fabric to make me sew happy!

How pretty! I have quite a fabric stash because I keep meaning to make a quilt, but get totally intimidated by sewing. I'm jealous of your ability. You'll have to post pics of the results!
Hey - beautiful stripes!! I think I just ordered a new duvet cover with matching sheets (OMG feel so old) and may very well need some new curtains to match...you for hire?
Chichimama, I will definately post some after photos. I love quilts and will see if I can dig up some photos of ones I have done.
Nancy, I am! I have a couple of orders on the go right now, but there is always room for more :)
I used to sew alot but with NATHAN it's hard to bringout the machine he loves to play with it and see how it works. HE"S SO HIS FATHER.
So enjoy all of this my dear. I still love walking around fabric stores. SIGH!
I wish I could sew. I am in awe of you!
my mom is/was a seamstress and I had numerous summer jobs in clothing manufactures where she worked doing a gazillion odds and ends YET I don't own a sewing amchine and can barely sew SO I'm always in awe of people who can accomplish this stuff
have fun with your projects, I may have a few lined up for you as I head towards redoing the kids rooms this summer :)
